Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Dermaplaning + Deep Cleansing.

Most clients experience minimal discomfort; dermaplaning is a gentle, non-invasive exfoliation and deep cleansing uses manual extractions. You may feel light scraping or suction, and slight redness can appear briefly but subsides within a few hours to a day.

Sessions typically last 60 to 75 minutes, including consultation, dermaplaning, extractions, mask, and finishing serums. Timing may vary based on skin condition and whether add-ons like LED therapy are included; consult with your esthetician for a personalized appointment length.

Ideal candidates have dry, dull, or congested skin seeking smoother texture and clearer pores. Not recommended for active cystic acne, skin cancer areas, or severe rosacea. A consultation will determine suitability and customize treatment for sensitive or compromised skin.

We recommend treatments every 4 to 6 weeks to maintain smoothness and clear pores. Frequency depends on hair regrowth, skin type, and concerns; your esthetician will suggest a tailored schedule to balance exfoliation with skin recovery and long-term skin health.

Avoid sun exposure and wear broad-spectrum SPF for at least one week. Use gentle cleansers, hydrating serums, and avoid retinoids or physical exfoliants for 5–7 days. Keep skin moisturized and schedule follow-up treatments as recommended.

While dermaplaning and deep cleansing improve texture and brightness, they don't fully remove deep scarring or severe pigmentation. They can enhance product penetration and reveal fresher skin; for persistent issues we may recommend chemical peels, microneedling, or targeted light therapies.
