Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Ombre Brows / Brows hair stroke.

Ombre Brows / Brows hair stroke combines soft powder shading with crisp hair-like strokes for a dimensional brow. The technique blends microblading or hair-stroke detailing with ombre shading to create natural fullness, tailored density and long-lasting definition suitable for different skin types.

We apply a topical numbing cream before and during the procedure to minimize discomfort. Most clients report mild pressure or tingling but find the process well-tolerated. Inform us about sensitivities or medications so we can adjust the approach.

Results typically last 12 to 36 months, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Oily skin and frequent sun exposure may fade faster. We recommend a color-enhancement touch-up at 6–12 months and a full refresh every 18–36 months to maintain vibrancy.

Initial healing takes 7–14 days with scabbing and color darkening. Color softens during the 4–6 week settling phase. Avoid wetting, sweating, and sun exposure while healing. We'll provide detailed aftercare instructions and schedule a follow-up for color adjustment.

Ideal candidates want fuller, natural-looking brows, including those with sparse hair, prior overplucking, or hair loss. Not recommended for pregnant clients, certain skin conditions, or recent retinoid use. A consultation determines suitability and any necessary medical considerations.

Avoid alcohol, blood thinners, and aspirin 48 hours before treatment; stop retinoids and exfoliating products one week prior. Come with clean skin and no makeup on brows. We'll review your medical history and desired shape during your consultation.
