Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Full Brazilian Waxing.
Most clients enjoy smooth, hair-free skin for three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and make hairs finer, extending time between appointments. Book maintenance visits as needed.
Sensitivity varies, but many clients report brief discomfort rather than prolonged pain. We recommend exfoliating beforehand, avoiding caffeine, taking a mild pain reliever if necessary, and communicating with your technician for a gentler approach.
Ensure hair is about quarter-inch long, avoid moisturizers or oils on the day, gently exfoliate 48 hours before, and arrive clean. This helps wax grip hairs and reduces risk of poor results or irritation.
Certain conditions — like active skin infections, severe varicose veins, recent surgeries, open wounds, or some medications (retinoids, blood thinners) — may contraindicate waxing. Disclose health issues and medications so we can advise or recommend alternative hair removal.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, tight clothing, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours. Apply calming aloe or recommended soothing creams, exfoliate gently after 48–72 hours, and wear loose cotton underwear to prevent irritation and ingrown hairs.
Shaving between appointments is not recommended because it alters hair regrowth and can affect future waxing results. If necessary, trim with scissors or an electric trimmer to maintain length without disrupting the waxing process.
